Let’s count number apple 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Now look at the take away something.

We can see the crosses indicate.

So look crosses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

So take away 6.

Leaves how many 1, 2. So write 2 there.

Take away 6 leaves 2 that number story.

Look at number story we write the number sentence 8 minus 6 equal 2.
