Bài 12: Numbers eight, nine and ten

Introducing 8, 9 and 10.

Starry, let us revise a counting poem together.

One, two buckle my shoes.

Three, four shut the door.

Five, six pick up sticks.

Seven, eight lay them straight.

Good… Starry, here are some sticks. Shall we count them together!

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 sticks. So the number after 7 is 8.

Now Starry, let’s count on our fingers up to 8.

Raise hand up, begin.

1-2-3-4-5, left hand, 6-7 and 8. Good, you have learnt to count to 8.

Look at this line of hens Starry! Let us count them together!

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 hens. The number after 8 is 9.

Shall we count up to 9 on our fingers Starry!

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9. Wait Starry, here comes one more big fat hen.

Shall we count all the hens together again. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 and 10 hens.

Very good Starry. You have learnt to count to 10.

And now, on our fingers.1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 excellent Starry.

Let us now do an activity together.

Here is the picture tell to under the sea.

You have to look the picture and match the numbers along side.

Let’s begin with the jelly fish.1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 and 10, 10 jelly fish.

Now, the sea weeds 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9, 9 sea weeds.

Next, the fish. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10, 10 fishes.

Now, the shells. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9, 9 shells.

Crabs. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and 8, 8 crabs.

And finally, let’s count the starfish. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 and 10 starfish.

You have now learnt three new numbers 8-9 and 10 Starry.

So you’re able to count from 1 to 10.
