Now, let me teach you how to multiply a two digit number by a one digit number.

It’s simple, believe me!

The first step Starry, you write down T for the digit in the ten places and U for the digit in the unit places.

And then arrange the number you have to multiply vertically.

You next multiply the unit 3 in 43 by 2 and write the product 6 in the unit places of the product.

Now multiply the ten digit 4 in 43 by 2 and write the product 8 in the ten places of the product.

Hence, 43 multiply by 2 is 86.

Wasn’t that easy! Let us try another one.

Multiply 32 by 3.

First multiply the unit digit 2 by 3 and write the product 6 in the unit places of the product.

Then, multiply the ten digit 3 by 3 and write the product 9 in the ten place of the product.

Hence, 32 multiply by 3 is 96.

Now let us provide what we have learnt by completing the following exercises on multiplication.
